16 years into her marriage with Rafick, her silly & sexy Brazilian husband (with adhd), Val has profound and funny insights into loving the neurodiverse humans in your life. (um, Kat is the one to call Rafick sexy--Val thinks it's too. . . immodest? to say that)

Kat (she/they) is a brilliant artist creating powerful work centering fat bodies. As a former ordained pastor she happily embraces the term “exvangelical.” Deconstructing from her religious worldview eventually led to a radical new relationship with her body and chronic illness, ending a long term marriage, and coming out as queer at the age of 41.

Kat likes to say her body sat her the fuck down and said “we have some shit to tell you!” She began making fat liberation art and talking more about deconstruction from any and all systems that do not serve us.

Irreverent, wise, and quick to drop f-bombs, Kat loves talking about sex and dating as a fat queer femme!
